Professor I. Queue stood in front of his new group of students and sighed with resignation. Another crop of dim bulbs. Not an LED in the bunch.

“Page 25 shows a room plan with all the electrical outlets. Determine the number of fixtures and output of each required for a laboratory.”

Blank stares.

“What do you mean, sir?”

“Enumerate the requirements.”

More blank stares.

“Figure out the answer.”

Silence.

“I don’t understand what you expect.”

“Edison must be rolling over in his grave! Calculate the requirements!”

“Why didn’t you say?” grumbled the student. The room started to glow with energy.
